Representative Millett moved and asked unanimous consent that the                                                               
House consider the Senate message (page 2401) on the following:                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 8(JUD) am                                                                                             
    "An Act relating to powers of attorney and other substitute                                                                 
    decision-making documents; relating to the uniform probate code;                                                            
   relating to notaries public; and providing for an effective date."

There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
Representative Millett moved that the House concur in the Senate                                                                
amendment to CSHB 8(JUD) am, thus adopting SCS CSHB 8(JUD),                                                                     
and recommended that the members vote yes.                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
**The presence of Representatives Neuman and Thompson, who were                                                                 
excused (page 2417), was noted.                                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
The question being:  "Shall the House concur in the Senate                                                                      
amendment to CSHB 8(JUD) am?"  The roll was taken with the
